“I’ve been coaching for 11 years. Where do you put it all?”
A coach from California, an EMCC workshop, and the question I keep hearing.
Nancy Hauschildt, ICF PCC, California
Every coach I speak to has the same problem. Years of knowledge. Frameworks you have refined. Tools you have built for specific clients. Insights that only came after your fifth year, your eighth, your eleventh. All of it sitting in folders, notebooks, and your own head. Nowhere near your clients.
Nancy Hauschildt put it better than I have heard anyone say it. She is an ICF PCC from California with 11 years of coaching experience. At a webinar hosted by Judit Ábri von Bartheld, MCC, for her BCC community, she said this about CoachNova unprompted.
Nancy works with leaders and coaches on presence. Her practice blends CliftonStrengths, neuroscience, and adult development to help leaders find authority that is rooted in who they actually are, not in performance. She is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and senior ICF Mentor Coach faculty.
She knows what good coaching looks like from the inside out.
She talked about turning years of accumulated knowledge, tools, and client insights into one personalised platform. The automated session summaries and action steps. The between-session communication. The admin that disappears. And underneath all of it, a more customised client experience built on everything a coach has learned over a career.
“I’ve been coaching for 11 years. You collect a lot of knowledge. But where do you put it all? I love this idea of putting everything that’s in my brain, all the tools I’ve created, in one location that gets to know me. And it’s there, available for my clients.”

We’ve put her video on our YouTube channel. Worth watching, especially if you’ve been sitting with the question of where you stand on all of this.
What coaches are saying
“I won’t take notes during sessions anymore and can dedicate my full focus to the conversation.”
Adger de Boer, ICF PCC, Amsterdam
“My client said: wow, it totally captured the essence of our session.”
Isobel Donaldson MA, Organisational Psychologist, Manchester

“I already use Otter. Why do I need something different?”
It is a fair question. And the honest answer is that Otter was built for meetings. Not for coaching.
A meeting note-taker captures who said what. That is useful for a project debrief. It is not useful after a session with a leader working through a career transition or a conflict with their board.
CoachNova’s note-taker was built specifically for executive and leadership coaching. It does not just transcribe. It picks up on the themes, patterns, and commitments that matter in a coaching conversation. The session summary you get back reads like it was written by someone who understands coaching, because it was trained on coaching, not on sales calls or team standups.
One other thing that matters. CoachNova runs on EU-hosted infrastructure. Your session data is never used to train AI models. When you use a generic transcription tool, you might be agreeing to terms that allow your clients’ words to become training data. Most coaches have not read those terms.
CoachNova and EMCC
The EMCC Global Annual Offsite is in Zagreb on 11–13 May. Theme: Beyond the Known. The same question will be in every room: what does the coaching profession actually believe it is here to do, and where does AI fit? Worth knowing that conversation is happening seriously, at the highest level of the profession. CoachNova will be there too.
Louise is contributing to the EMCC Global Digital and AI Thought Leadership team. EMCC was ahead of most professional bodies when it published its Digital Ethics Guidelines for coaching in July 2023. That early commitment to getting AI guidance right matters. On Day 2 of the Global Annual Offsite in Zagreb, 11–13 May, Louise is co-hosting a Lab Session on AI augmented coaching.
How CoachNova thinks about ethics, coach control, and responsible AI is shaped by those conversations.
If you are attending, let me know. I would love to connect in person.
How to augment your coaching practice with AI, ethically
Two sessions. 120 minutes in total. By the end you will know exactly how to bring AI into your practice in a way that is grounded, ethical, and genuinely useful for the leaders you work with.
Session 1: Wednesday 6 May, 16:00 CET. Three exercises with a free AI tool. You discover what AI handles well, define what only you can do, and see the three levels of AI in coaching. You leave with personal outputs, not slides to forget.
Session 2: Tuesday 19 May, 16:00 CET. The ongoing coaching extension in practice. Coaches working with CoachNova share their honest experience of a platform built for and with coaches. We also talk about the economics of ongoing coach extension.
