The coaching engagement ends. The client's development does not. Starting in May, CoachNova introduces two extension options that let you keep supporting clients after the formal contract closes — without adding sessions to your calendar.
The problem with endings
Most coaching contracts end abruptly. Six sessions, twelve sessions, whatever was agreed — and then nothing. The client goes back to their organisation with new awareness and no ongoing support. The coach loses the relationship. Both sides know the timing is arbitrary.
It does not have to work this way. The question is: what does support look like after the formal engagement ends, and who pays for it?
CoachNova's extension subscriptions answer both questions. Two options. Different intensity levels. Both funded by the client or their organisation, not by the coach's time.
Option 1: Digital Twin Access
The client gets ongoing access to their Nova AI — the private digital twin built from their coaching sessions — after the formal engagement ends.
What this means in practice: the client can continue to query their own coaching intelligence. They can ask their Nova AI to surface patterns from their sessions, revisit reflections from months ago, or generate a preparation brief before a high-stakes conversation. The coach is not actively involved. The client is drawing on an intelligence built from their real coaching work.
This is not a chatbot. The Nova AI does not give advice or coach the client directly. It reflects back what the client already explored with their coach — patterns, themes, frameworks — in a way that extends the value of the engagement without extending the coach's active involvement.
Pricing: EUR 50–75 per month. Set by the coach, paid by the client or their organisation. CoachNova's platform fee is EUR 19 per client per month.
Option 2: Guided Extension
A structured continuation of the coaching relationship, where the client receives coach-approved prompts, reflections, and accountability nudges on an ongoing basis. The coach sets up the extension parameters — cadence, focus areas, the kind of support the client needs — and the Nova AI delivers it within those boundaries.
The coach reviews outputs periodically rather than weekly. It is active support without active sessions. The client experiences continuity. The coach earns revenue without adding calendar time.
Pricing: EUR 75–150 per month. Set by the coach based on the level of involvement and review required. CoachNova's platform fee is EUR 19 per client per month.

What the client experiences
From the client's perspective, the engagement does not end — it changes form. They move from weekly or fortnightly sessions to lighter-touch support that keeps them connected to the work they did with their coach.
- Reflection prompts tied to themes from their actual sessions, not generic coaching questions
- Pattern recognition — the Nova AI surfaces recurring themes the client explored during the engagement, helping them notice their own development over time
- Accountability nudges aligned with the commitments the client made during coaching, delivered at the cadence the coach configured
- Preparation support before high-stakes moments — the Nova AI draws on everything from the engagement to help the client prepare for a board presentation, a difficult conversation, or a career decision
The client is not talking to a generic AI. They are drawing on an intelligence that was built from hundreds of hours of their own coaching work, shaped by a coach who knows them.
What this means for your practice
Extension subscriptions change the economics of coaching in a fundamental way. Instead of a project model — engage, deliver, close — you move toward a relationship model where client value compounds over time and your revenue reflects that.
The maths are straightforward. If ten clients move to a Digital Twin Access subscription at EUR 75 per month, that is EUR 750 per month in recurring revenue. No additional sessions. No new clients. Revenue from work you have already done.
For clients who need more support, Guided Extensions at EUR 100–150 per month create a meaningful income stream from periodic review rather than active delivery. You stay in the relationship. You continue to earn. Your calendar does not expand.
This is not a replacement for new client work. It is a base layer of predictable, recurring revenue that makes your practice more stable and your client relationships more durable.
What happens without this
Three things typically happen when a coaching engagement ends without extension options:
- The client's development stalls. The momentum built during the engagement dissipates without ongoing support. Insights that felt solid during sessions become harder to access six months later without any scaffolding.
- The coach loses the relationship. A client who experienced real value during an engagement is a natural source of referrals, repeat work, and professional connection. When the engagement ends with nothing, that relationship often goes cold.
- The revenue gap creates pressure. Coaching practices built entirely on new client acquisition are inherently unstable. One slow quarter, one client who does not renew, and the pipeline anxiety begins. Recurring revenue from extensions changes that calculus.
Extension subscriptions are available from May 2026. If you are already on CoachNova, you will be able to configure extension options for any client whose engagement is wrapping up. If you are not yet on CoachNova, the sessions you run now build the client's Nova AI — the intelligence that makes extensions valuable when they launch.
