We listened for twenty minutes straight.

Our monthly coach community call got so lively that we listened for twenty minutes straight. Coaches pricing the new packages they are building with CoachNova. CoachNova turning up in multinational RFPs, and what corporate buyers are starting to look for. And a brand new website, with a calculator on it that shows what you could earn from past clients coming back.

    A quick hello

A lively fifth coach community call.

On Thursday 10 September we held our fifth coach community call, the monthly hour for coaches using CoachNova. Great turnout, and several of you were there for the first time.

The hour went almost entirely to one subject: the new packages you are building, and how to price them. With CoachNova you can now work in three modalities:

    1. 1Your coaching sessions
    2. 2Messaging in between
    3. 3Your Coach AI

So what is the right mix, and how do you market it and price it?

It stayed open and practical the whole way, and it kept coming back to what the coachee actually needs. The best part was how much of it was you talking to each other rather than to us. At one point we listened for twenty minutes straight without saying a word.

What came up is further down, and it’s worth your time. If you would rather watch it, the full recording of call #5 is on YouTube.

And if you would like to be in the room for the next one, call number six is on Monday 5 October, same time.

    What buyers see

CoachNova is turning up in multinational RFPs.

Several senior coaches have started writing CoachNova into multinational RFPs this quarter, and it’s getting traction.

It makes sense from the buyer’s side. Most of the proposals on that desk offer the same thing, a number of sessions with an experienced coach. Yours offers that, and continuity in the weeks in between, in your method, with you supervising it. A careful buyer sees which one gives their people more.

We’re building from the other end too. In 2027 we’re going at this properly, and we’ve started interviewing heads of L&D and CHROs about how they allocate their coaching budget, and what would make them allocate it differently.

If you know someone in one of those roles, we’d love to talk to them. Just email Louise and we’ll take it from there. And if you’ve got an RFP in front of you now, tell us. We’ll support it in whatever form helps.

    The question we get most

“How do I price something nobody’s priced before?”

You are used to selling packages and online sessions. Now you can also charge for access to your AI twin: messaging in between, and highly personal, private coaching that you supervise. So how do you price that?

It took most of the hour on Thursday, and it started with Richard putting the question to the room:

“I was just wondering if people saw the app as just a channel, but the real service is the digital twin.”
    Richard Black

Two shapes came out of it. The first is tiered: a set-up fee for the first two sessions, then a monthly subscription for clients who want your thinking without your calendar, and your longer packages with that subscription already built into the price. The second is about rhythm: put a month’s pause between month two and month three, and a three month engagement becomes four, with the work carrying on right through the gap.

That opened into how much of you stays in the loop. The view that carried the room was that staying visibly present is what makes this work. In practice that looks like a half hour session every six to eight weeks, and a weekly look in CoachNova at what your client is working on.

And it is not only about what you can earn. Dr Roger Maitland took it a layer deeper, to what this does to the coaching itself:

“Over time you build the coachee’s capacity to use it productively in service of their coaching goals.”
    Dr Roger Maitland

Several of you are already designing for exactly that. You close the session by giving your client one thing to work on in there: practise the conversation you’re dreading on Thursday, and bring me what came up. Build that capacity while you are working together, and it keeps serving them after the engagement ends.

Working out what this looks like for your own practice? Book a call and let’s brainstorm it together.

    Worth five minutes

A second revenue stream, from clients you have already coached.

The new coachnova.ai went live on the morning of the call, with a lot of new material on it.

Check out the new CoachNova AI website

Start with the pricing page. It has a calculator: how many of your past clients might come back, and what you would charge them a month. Below you see an example.

The CoachNova pricing calculator showing eight returning clients at 150 euro a month, giving 1,048 euro of new recurring revenue each month and 12,576 euro across a year.
Eight past clients at €150 a month, after our €19 per active client: €1,048 each month, and €12,576 across the year.

Try it with your own numbers: what you would charge, and how many of your past clients could come back. You decide the price, and we take no share of it.

It is not only past clients either. If you are already working with someone in CoachNova, you can switch this on for them straight away.
